Inspiration comes from listening to clients and their needs and from personal experiences. Passion for Landscape Architecture and visualizing the possiblilities is what sets Jim Ashley Design aside from other designers who focus primarily on plants. Using his skills and experiences that have grown over 20 years, his designs embrace the charactor of the home and creates a space that will be enjoyed by all.
Work
With over 25 years of professional experience, Jim Ashley has been involved in creating site plans for parks and recreational facilities, research and development and financial and educational institutions along with residential design. While his work experisnce is broad Jim Ashley Design focuses on high end residential designs that will increase the homeowners happiness and the value of their home through nature.
Exhibitions
You will see from his gallery of project samples that he has an eye for detail and for spacial relationships with all elements of Landscape Architecture and how it relates to both the topography of the site as well as the structures. His designs consist of many elements from water features and patios to outdoor entertainment areas and naturally screening buffers.
While Jim Ashley Design mainly concentrates on residential design, he will work with design firms to assist in design or drafting if needed. He enjoys trouble shooting and will always find a solution to any problem. He also enjoys researching plants to determine which are best for any application. His passion is and always has been in Landscape Architectural design!
